Community Involvement
As an enthusiastic member of the Westport and Weston community, Matt is dedicated to staying involved in as many activities as his schedule will allow. Personally, he enjoys participating in and sponsoring the Westport Road Runner's Series; a series of 10 races of progressively longer distances that runs every saturday morning from July 4th to Labor Day. Westport Road Runners As a devoted father, Matt enjoys coaching his daughter's softball team and sponsoring theatrical performances through both his children's school and other public schools in the community. Staples Players Matt also feels that giving back to the community in a broader scope is important. In an effort to do so, in the past year he was involved in and sponsored Wing and Wheels 2011; a charitable event aimed to support Patient Airlift Servies, a service that arranges free air transportation based on need using a network of pilots who volunteer their time and aircraft without reimbursement or compensation.
